Kangra valley is situated in the very foothills of the Dhauladhar mountain range. --- Its beauty and rich cultural heritage make Kangra a must place to visit in exploring the Himalayas. The whole region is full of forests, snow-clad mountains, tea orchards, and the mysterious world of Tibetan culture. Imagine a place chosen by his holiness, the DALAI LAMA - supreme spiritual leader for many throughout the world. Here you will gain insight into Indian culture as a whole.

Day 01

Receiving you in Delhi and escorting you to your hotel if interested, a Delhi sight-seeing tour can be organized for the day.

Day 02 - 03
Suggest you to start your journey early to the beautiful Himalayas so that we can avoid the rush hours of this big country. This will be journey of about 10 hours to enter Himachal-check in to Hotel Judges Court - a nicely and professionally maintained hotel.

This will be our halt for two days. For your information, this is the first notified heritage village of India -- from this place we will take you to the wonderful world of the famous kangra paintings- a life style on the walls and paper in Haripur. A visit to Pong dam is a must, as it is considered a paradise for anglers to catch different variety of fishes, and our chef will prepare wonderful recipes from that - cuisine you choose from. Not only can you enjoy water sports, but also you can watch around 23 types of migratory birds. We know you will really love to stay there, but there is much more to this valley.

Day 03
Leave Nalagarh for Sarahan known as "The Gateway TO Kinnaur" it's a journey through many places of tourist interest like Shimla, Narkanda etc. Today's journey will be of 254kms. After excursion, exploration and traditional dinner sleep well till next day.

Day 03 - 05
Our next destination will be Taragarh - a royal palace of Maharaja Kashmir, perfectly located in green tea orchards and with picturesque views of the Dhauladhar ranges.

This is the place from where your journey to the spiritual world of Buddhism starts. - We will take you to Mclodganj, the official capital of the Tibetan govt in exile - feel the purity and sense the rich bhodh culture to bhodh lamas. -- We are sure a new world of spirituality will open to you. We can spend evenings on the lawns of hotel with freshly prepared barbecue and cultural programmes by local artists.

Day 05 - 06 Just going around, no memories - can't happen!! - Spend your days exploring local markets. We will take you to local handicraft workshops, where you can buy famous Himalayan jewelry or paintings. So, it's our advice to you, when you pack up for the tour, make it small, because going back home, your luggage will be big! Your guide will be able to provide you any more specific advice.
