Nirvana comes calling at
the Lakhawati Snow Farms Camp, approximately a
five-hour haul from Shimla. The tented camp
fully utilises the natural advantage of being on
the banks of the Shailvi River and most of the
activities are concentrated around the water.
The camp is in a clearing embraced by hills that
are mostly bare, with a smattering of cherry,
fig and almond trees. . A lazy swim, a gentle
trek, some relaxed fishing or an easy stroll is
all that passes for activity. So this summer be
adventurous, but gently in Lakhawati.
